We’re Going Green…and Saving You Money

Dear Accreditation Candidates,

As you may know, we are moving to fully electronic materials for the Modules in the CSCMP Accreditation Program.  We are doing this for the following reasons:

1. Graduate Level Program – Accessing materials electronically is standard for graduate level programs.  The CSCMP Accreditation Program is a graduate level program.

2. Copyrighted Works – The materials in the Modules are now available for use through a paid electronic library catalog service. The materials are copyrighted by the publishers. Each candidate must obtain their own copyright access and cannot forward the materials to others.  To do so would be copyright infringement.

3. Reducing Cost – We recognize that higher learning can be expensive because of the cost of textbooks.  Providing you with electronic access allows us to reduce the cost of materials.  We are passing the cost savings along to you.

4. Going Green – In an effort to save paper waste, we recommend you read the articles electronically and print the case studies for in-class reference when needed.

If you have registered through a college to take a Module you need to purchase the materials from OIPMAC.  The materials cost is $60 CDN in total for the Candidate Manual and the associated readings.  (This represents a savings of approximately 50% over comparable courses and programs.)  Please note that printed readings will no longer be available through the College bookstores.
