OIPMAC vigorously encourages volunteer participation and provides opportunities for involvement at all levels of the organization.

Volunteers on the national and provincial boards are actively engaged in the leadership and governance of PMAC and OIPMAC, while members and program participants, through their involvement on program planning councils help ensure they are getting the programs and services they need. Our talented and enthusiastic volunteers do not shy away from lending a hand wherever they are needed, from providing administrative support within the OIPMAC office, to helping with promotional/marketing activities, visiting schools and post-secondary institutions to make presentations to students and even invigilating examinations.

The OIPMAC Volunteer Recognition Program acknowledges and rewards the ongoing contributions of volunteers.

Program Planning Sub-Committees: Call for Volunteers

OIPMAC’s member development programs-events are designed to deliver high professional value to member-professionals and the broader supply chain community. Anchored by the OIPMAC program planning councils, these events are organised with the help of volunteer sub-committees whose efforts and assistance will help support the councils’ drive to build and develop Ontario’s supply chain community. We are looking for volunteers who have (or are seeking to develop) one or more of the following skills:
• Planning and event co-ordination
• Problem solving and decision making
• Idea building
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Promotion and outreach skills
• Negotiation
• Teamwork and leadership
• Enthusiasm and dedication

Thanks to e-mail and teleconferencing, you can make a significant volunteer contribution with minimal time spent away from home or office. This is an opportunity to work along side committed fellow members and practitioners to help promote and advance supply chain leadership…and have some fun!
