My family and I immigrated to Canada from the UK in 2001, after completing my undergraduate degree in Law. Being exposed to transitioning from one environment and culture to another, as well as going through the hurdles of organizing my own logistical arrangements, I became fascinated as to how suppliers and buyers coordinated and transitioned services and products both locally and internationally. With the concept of globalization further developing within day to day business in many companies and countries, I developed an interest in Supply Chain Management concepts.
I wanted to understand how contemporary models, practices and performance measures were created to determine an effective and efficient supply chain model. I also wanted to gain strategic concepts that are being developed amongst buyers, suppliers, internal and external customers in an ever changing global environment.
I decided to pursue the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program to further develop my interest and gain an in-depth understanding of supply chain management, and with the concept of globalization, to learn supply chain management theories and strategies.
I am hoping to achieve my objective from the Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program and I would certainly recommend this program to those that are serious about the profession and professional certification. Anyone wishing to gain executive level strategic supply chain education to further develop professionally and personally would greatly benefit from this program. |
