Getting Started
First time user or resetting your password?

You must be logged in for the following:
Maintaining Personal Information
Registering For Events/Seminars/Courses

Renewing Your Membership
Participating In Discussion Forums and Online Communities
Searching the Membership Directory

First time user or resetting your password?

  1. Visit www.ontarioinstitute.ca/members

  2. Input Login: (Your Membership ID#)*

  3. Leave the password field empty

  4. Click “Reset my password”

  5. Input your email address you receive OIPMAC email notifications to and click submit

  6. An email will be sent to this email address from the administrator with a link.

  7. Click on the link and enter your new password in the field provided.

  8. You can now log in and begin!

Maintaining Personal Information

  1. To modify your personal information click on YOUR NAME / ID# on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click the EDIT button in the top bar above your personal information.
    • Make desired changes

  3. Click SUBMIT at the bottom of the page
    • Please review your information to ensure the changes have taken effect

Registering For Events/Seminars/Courses

  1. Events can be searched by entering event information into the fields provided. For a complete list of events simply click search (leave all the fields blank).

  2. Click on the event/seminar/course you would like enroll into.

  3. Click CHECK-OUT under the event/seminar/course name at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Input your information into the required fields and click CHECK-OUT at the bottom of the screen.

**All transactions are secure and conducted through VERISIGN Payment Services.**

Renewing Your Membership

  1. Click e-billing reminder under your profile information or on the top right menu bar.

  2. Click check-out under the total of the membership dues.

  3. Input payment information into the required fields.

  4. Click check-out at the bottom right of the screen below all the information. (Important: Only click check-out once and wait for confirmation)

Participating In Discussion Forums and Online Communities

  1. Click on Communities at the top of the webpage.

  2. Click GLOBAL PREFERENCES on the right side of the screen.

  3. Click on the SUBSCRIBE button for the community you would like to participate in.

  4. Click on the name of your community to view its contents.
    • To start a new discussion click “Create New Topic” on the top right
    • To participate in a current discussion click on the topic name in the list and reply

Searching the Membership Directory

  • Enter the LAST NAME of the person you are searching for – a minimum of the first two letters

  • If you see “The search returned more than 100 rows” you must enter the complete LAST NAME.
