Executive Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program
The Rotman School of Management and the Ontario Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada have partnered to create the EXECUTIVE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM) PROGRAM. The Executive SCM Program will offer seasoned business professionals a flexible and efficient path to the Purchasing Management Association of Canada’s (PMAC’s) supply chain management designation within six months*. As the most sought-after credential in supply chain management in Canada, PMAC’s internationally recognized designation signals that its holder has attained the highest level of professional competence in supply chain management and is committed to lifelong learning.
The Executive SCM Program is designed for an evolving marketplace where executives in supply chain management must be capable of surpassing customer expectations and coming up with integrative solutions to brand new challenges in the industry. With procurement, operations, logistics and all areas of supply chain management playing an increasingly important role in organizations, SCM executives are now counted on to provide:
- Understanding of the strategic role of procurement, and tactical approaches that support the strategy
- Integration of logistics functions
- Operations design and management that accomplishes organizational goals
- Innovative leadership to achieve a competitive advantage in the global marketplace
*Candidates who successfully complete the program will be eligible to write the PMAC National Examination, the final step in acquiring PMAC’s supply chain management designation and employer recognition.
The next program begins January 17, 2011. Registration deadline is November 19, 2010.
